🍝 CREAM & HAM PASTA🍝
I make this A LOT for my family and it's always gone really fast!
It's really nice to make on a weekday since it's fast and low effort.
- Note on Pasta :
You can literally use any pasta you would like, from spagetti to penne or even ramen.
I use 380g for 4 people and if I eat alone I make between 50-80g depending on how hungry I am.
TLDR: This recipe will be for 4 People, you can just reduce it if you cook for less or eat alone!
- Ingredients :
380 g Pasta
1-2 onions
2-3 cloves of garlic
150 g of ham or bacon
250 ml of cream
50 g Cheese eg. Mountain Cheese, Emmentaler etc
1 egg
- Method :
- Cut and fry the Onions, Garlic and Meat in a big non-stick pan.
- Turn heat to low and add the cream.
- Salt, Pepper and add some Nutmeg.
- While you are making the sauce cook your desired amount of pasta in salted water like described on the packaging.
- Grate your cheese finely while the pasta is cooking.
- After the pasta is cooked, add them to the sauce straight from the water (that’s why you need a big pan).
- Scramble your egg and add it to the pan together with your grated cheese and mix everything through until your sauce is thickened.
- Keep your heat on low for step 7 otherwise you will get pasta with scrambled egg sauce!
Optional :
You can also add diffrernt kinds of vegetables like Zucchini, Broccoli, Spring Onion or such! And if you are vegetarian you can leave out the meat completely, in this case Mushrooms would be a very nice substitute flavourwise.
